As divaflip has posted, Onyx has gone in for surgery today. I've just returned from dropping him off at the vet's. I'm sure they're very competent, but can't help being a little bit worried.

Still, in the best of worlds, it will be some benign growth that they can remove and we'll never have to worry about it again.
