Monday morning blues...
Friday night caught up with Jo. We had no fixed idea of what we were going to do, and so ended up at Star City. We played blackjack. I managed to double my money (not much to begin with, but it was a nice feeling). Jo, on the other hand did much much better for himself. When we got bored, we grabbed a coffee then headed home. We stayed up talking at his place til almost 3am!
On Saturday morning, I woke to discover that divaflip had been bitten by something, and it's probably gone necrotic. She's also got some mild anaphylaxis as her throat feels tight. We went out shopping, and I bought new strings for my guitar, then played in Belinda's Nights of our Lives campaign. The storyline is coming to a head, and Fr Roberto will go back to preaching on street corners. I'm thinking my next character will probably be some metalhead mage that can play in the Beast and Belle.
Sunday, divaflip was off at the Powerhouse, dragon wrangling. I caught up with Will L and the archery boys for lunch, then back to Julian's place to play some D&D with them.
I'm hoping that I'll get some vouchers that I'm redeeming wishlist points at work, so I can get my Xbox 360 today. divaflip noted that the closer I get to getting the damn thing, the more impatient I get. This is sort of a bad week to get it, with early starts every day meaning that I need to get to bed early, but I will get it, dammit!
