(no subject)
Woke up yesterday morning with a really sore throat and a bit of a fever, so I called in sick. It still feels good to know that I get paid sick days. Phew. Anyway, after sleeping for the rest of the morning, I drove out to the doctor (who said I might have to take two days off to kick the bug), did some shopping, then came home again.
Among other things, I got an iTrip clone for my Nano, which rocks, and some new speakers for Lady Luck (one of the rear ones is blown). It’s been too wet to install the speakers, though, so that’ll have to wait until Tuesday.
After hacking away on some PHP projects, I wasn’t able to sleep until almost 6am, and when I woke up to go to work my sore throat was worse (surprise!), so I followed the doctor’s orders and called in sick again. After finally dragging my sorry ass out of bed, I spent the rest of the day working on SydCon stuff. The fruits of these efforts shall be apparent shortly.
Anyway, going back to work tomorrow, so I’m bunking off soon.
