What a couple of days. I had been joking on-and-off yesterday about "having" a migraine and not going to work. Who woulda thought that within two hours, my head would be threatening to split open? So I went home early.

Fortunately, by the time I made it home, I was feeling a bit better and able to install divaflip's birthday present - a nice big 120GB hard drive and a wireless LAN adaptor. It took far longer than I anticipated, but the job's 99% done. The long haul of moving all her saved games across is all that really remains. The transition was certainly smoother than our previous scramble to keep her data, at least.

Of course, by the time I was done it was almost 3am! I don't know why, but given my state of exhaustion, I don't think I should have been awake until almost four. Not happy. Anyway, I finally got some sleep in (but not enough).

Today, I met up with Jo to get the house keys I left in Brisbane, and we chatted for a long while about the Macworld Keynote and stuff. Man I want one of them MacBook Pros. Ah well, it's just a toy these days. And by the time I can afford one, something much better will probably be available.

Anyway, I'm back at work and determined not to bail early on medical grounds. The weekend (and showing divaflip how to rip CDs and use AirTunes) beckons!
