Today was a flurry of shopping. Jo, Mel, Ben and I went down to a mall and met up with Ben's girlfriend, who seems nice enough -- and she's unconsciously picked up the JIS accent from Ben, which is sorta cute.
Mel directed me and Jo as we cooked nasi goreng by committee, and now we're going out with her boyfriend to drink and play pool.
I like this holiday thing. Could get used to it.
The weather up here is hot and humid, yet it's more tolerable than Sydney's hot and humid. Somehow, it's more like Jakarta. I don't notice it half as much. Weird.
