Hmm. The dropped packet problem seems to have disappeared, but my line noise stats haven't improved. In fact, it would seem that I am now connecting at just over a third of the advertised speed.
Still, the techs haven't quite given up on us yet. Apparently, the source of noise is not on the property and the fault has been escalated to level 2. Whether or not this means it will be rectified soon is yet to be seen.
