Kakadu
At the end of a very long month I am pleased to have arrived in Kakadu.
This area contains a lot of history and is still a very active region politically regarding uranium mining, as well as being a major tourist attraction and destination. The reason I am here however is the wildlife reserve itself, with large expanses of tropical and exotic costal wetlands.
First apperances are of almost endless dense tropical scrubland. However, I will be very busy traveling arond the region and I hope to uncover what it has on offer.
