So the wedding did turn out to be quite a success, for me at least. I did go though an uncomfortable period of time during the reception where I was alone at the table and suffering a notable breakdown (why I have no idea, aside that the atmosphere at the time it was socially claustrophobic.) After about half a malibu and sprite, I felt better. Much better actually. My stepdad made sure I had a ridiculously steady supply of these drinks the rest of the night.
The first time my family asked me to get up and dance I wasn't quite the right kind of drunk. Later, when I requested "Shake it like a Polaroid picture" I was just the right kind of inebriated.
As for pictures, I only took three pictures, not good ones either mind you. They ended up being more or less a time lapse of the reception. I shall share them now.
One Malibu and Sprite
Two Malibu and sprite
Three or Four!
I was smiling so muchly because of the people behind me on the dance floor making fools of themselves.
Now I think the best ending to the wedding was seeing my former World History teacher absolutely belligerent and getting cookies and milk for the ride home. Cookies and milk! Can you believe it? I loved that part.
Aside from that, last week I sent out my doll project and will still have to do some talking with the old stepdad about the shipping cost, which due to my getting to the post office so late were absolutely astronomical.
So two things crossed off my to do list. I don't think I"ll be painting Anthy and Utena though. This old train just doesn't have the steam power.
I'll get the better pictures from the wedding soon hopefully and post them for every one who requested. My brain still isn't quite right after the shit months that were January and February for me. At least those shit months were sprinkled with little sparkling diamonds that are being with friends and forgetting my troubles and unnecessary worries with them.
