'Triple Threat' Discovered to be Legitimate

Last night I went to the Bottom of the Hill to see Film School. Courtney and I showed up early enough to catch most of the first band Citizens Here and Abroad, they were awesome. I can't remember the last time I was so impressed with a performance by a band I had never heard before. I thought of Jenn, thinking of shows we have been to together,

Outta the the performances last night, I think I liked Sound Team's the best, then Citizens by a very close margin, then Film School. Film School's performance wasn't really what I expected it to be, I started getting a little bored towards the end of their set, but it was still pretty good. I guess the least favorable out of 3 very good bands still isn't so bad ;)

Oh, and I remember more clearly now, I do know the drummer of Citizens, but not how I originally thought. here he is.

ha ha, I've been coming across (and unthinkingly skipping over) kings of convenience for the last 2 years or so... I keep thinking, hmm, that sounds good, I should check it out... but then kind of dropping it. Could it be because "convenience" is so ridiculously hard to spell? hmm! Or maybe because it makes me thing of "detachable penis" for some mystifying reason. Ahh well. I guess it hasn't yet been convenient.

Maybe I'll move them up on my mental list.

awww i wish i had known you were gonna be there...i was there too. went mainly to see citizens here and abroad and left soon after they were done playing...

There was space up front so I ended up staying there in front of the stage the whole night.
