I've been working on my assignment ... and by working I mean I've listened to my favourites playlist through twice and lost at spider solitaire more times than I can count. On my assignment I've hit the enter key twice. That's it.

I'm considering gouging out my eyes with satsuma peel, just for a change of pace.

oh god. It's like pulling teeth. I'm getting no where with my assignment. Am repeatedly checking word count. In fact this is probably the most I've written in an hour.

I completely forgot that the assignment I have to write over easter has a specific book to read, and obviously it is on loan at the university library. So I had to buy it off amazon, I just really hope it gets here before, yunno, the assignment is due in.

... M and I spent break time at uni today rating the 'emo-ness' of the sixth formers visiting the uni. We were quite bored. Plus we decided we really like some of their clothes and need to go shopping more. And have more money. Who knew carpenter jeans were 'in'? I want some ( Read more... )

... I spend an awful lot of time in the pub! 3 times in the last 3 days, though I refrained from eating there this time, cause I so don't need to spend more money. Though oooh, I want a new top! Cause am going out for a friend's birthday on saturday and I should have shiny new clothes for that :D

my placement school has the students call the teachers by their first names. This is unbelieveably weird to me.

Also I got lost on the way home.

urgh, I have to go pack for a field course I'm reallllly hoping will be cancelled. So obviously I spent the last, oh, two hours searching for p!atd icons, and found this one by wearmyhat, ain't it cute :D

*Does dance of joy*, I passed the QTS tests for ICT, literacy *and* numeracy. The mind boggles as to how I passed the numeracy and with the ICT one I accidently deleted one of the files you needed to complete the database section, so really the pass mark is unfathomable!

Still: wheee!

Argh, had my year 10s twice today and while the F1 starter activity worked quite well I spent the rest of the lesson persuading them not to gas us all. Jesus.

Teaching my year 8s went better! They seemed to enjoy the revision work I set for them so all is good, even though I didn't get time to do the quiz, again!

Jees. Okay first off my lift was ill, so panicked phone call to my parents (I was teaching first lesson) and my fabulous Dad gave me a lift (it's a two hour round trip for him!).
