As has become the trend over the recent years, I didn't even realize this day was almost upon me. It only occurred to me when I was at work last night, filling out the dates on today's paperwork. Only when I wrote it out did it seem to hit me. Strange the way it happens. Also strange that my boss apparently had the foresight to schedule me off

Dancing in the snow isn't exactly an option here, but I guess sitting out in the warm sunshine in the middle of winter counts as something enjoyable I don't get to do often!

I can't imagine how horrible this day must have been for you all those years ago. I'm glad it's not a bad day any longer.
