I've read both "Geisha" and "Prada," as well as seen both movies, and enjoyed all of it. Meryl Streep is excellent as Miranda, btw.

"Danse Macabre" follows in the footsteps of the last two, sorry to say. I know that Hamilton said she wanted this book to focus on relationships, so I read it with that in mind, and found that it helped. Put simply, the entire book takes places over the course of two nights during which Anita is experiencing a pregnancy scare. There are interesting plot points raised, but for the most part they are left unresolved at the end of the book. I'm curious to see if they will be in the next one, since Hamilton said that one will involve Edward, and I don't really see how it will all mesh well. One cool thing about it is we learn a little bit more about Were politics, and we're introduced to Sirens/merfolk as a race of people (creatures?). The most disappointing thing, for me, were the multi-chapter sex scenes. I don't object to smut, even high kink smut like these scenes mostly were, but I would have much rather had the plot's loose ends tied up than see Anita add to her "hisem."
