Me? In a band?
The funny thing about buying that Les Paul:
Getting hit up by a friend to start a band. Do the "NIN is Trent Reznor" thing and get people to play with you on stage.
The fatal flaws in this:
Need to learn how to play beyond what I vaguely remember. I also need to get the guitar set up right.
Need to learn Logic or Pro Tools.
Need to get my hands on a good amp/cab/stompbox suite(preferably Line 6 hardware) and a decent amp.
Need a band name. Been kicking around "Apocrypha" or "Exile" and I'm open to other options.
Name for the guitar. Or what I could call the "B. B. King meets The Mission UK" moment. Granted, I think I need a bit more time to get to know her, yet I'm thinking of naming her "Evangeline," or "Belladonna." "Fabienne," "Amelia" and "Severina" just don't seem right and I haven't dug out the book I pull names from yet.
Anyway... I'm gonna rest a bit while I wait for the damn sudafed kicks in and I arrive at SFSU.
