(no subject)
I had a big long post. i had two actually. but due to stupid compy errors i couldn't post either of them. i don't want to re-write them, so i'll post something new. my front yard has at least 4 feet of snow on it. and thats only due to the fact that it's been melting like crazy. i have friends and family in the Toronto area and i find myself(much as i did when i lived their myself) chuckling a little. not that i wish them disfortune. more or less its just nice to not be the only city in this country that has rediculous amounts of snow. the only difference is T.O. wont have any snow in a few weeks. it wont even stop snowing here for a few weeks let alone starting the melting season.
Stafford has had to shovel off our roof somewhere around 5 times in the last 2 weeks. we have a nasty chunk of ice causing some water damage in our living room and at the front door. the icicles have been insane lately too. i saw a 5 footer yesterday (says the prairie hick).
i love hockey. seriously pissed at the Oilers for trading smyth. tempted not to watch hockey any more this season untill they re-sign him.
yesterday we came home to a dog covered in poop and pee and a cage that need a serious cleaning. my inlaws dog is staying with us whilst they are away on vacation. shes an old black lab that gets a little jittery when trapped indoors or is separated from her people. so i had to go out yesterday and i locked her in Trumans kennel. 4 hours later and we're cleaning out the cage and giving her a bath. on top of that we had to throw out Trumans new pillow. there was just no saving it. maybe if it had been the summer and we could hose it off....
Ellie is attempting to sit up on her own. gets a little bit stronger everyday. we put her on her tummy and she immediatly tried to roll over and when that didn't work she tried to get her knees under her. soooo cute. cant remember if i mentioned that there is a new album at the picasa site. anyway ...
