I have a confession to make. I am a suck. let me fill u in. i adore the genre of fantasy. love it to bits. So with this in mind we went to see Pan's labrynth last night. Let me first say it was a wonderfully made movie, at least the part we saw. Yes, we left about 1 1/2 hours into it. not because it was a bad movie it isnt, and i highly suggest people go see it. I am just easily disturbed by certain types of "realistic" scenes. there is a character (i will attempt to not wreck the movie for anyone) that, while frightening in appearance, has pictures on the wall of himself eating human babies. Being a new mom and as i said, easily disturbed, we left. i do wish i knew the end of the story, and truthfully i find i can watch that type of thing better if i know the whole story in advance. oh well maybe i'll attempt it again sometime. thats my confession for the day. if anyone has seen it please fill me in!
