Who: Hattie and Ella When: Today Where: Ella's home Summary: The sequel to an average day in the house of Frell Warnings: Rest your eyes every 2 hours.
Kyra was content to stay at Ella's heels most of the time - fortunately she had come back from work almost two hours before Hattie. Plenty of time to warm up, put a pot of water on to boil for cocoa, and get cozy.
Apparently Hattie was not in the best of moods today. Maybe Ella should just stay out of her way. But she was comfortable. Maybe a new episode of Love is Over will be on and that would cheer her up?
"If you're cold, grab a cup of cocoa, the water's still hot." Ella called from the den, where she had a nice fire stoked and going to stay warm.
Unfortunatly for Hattie, that show wouldn't be on for another few hours. However the good news was there was cocoa- Delicious, sweet cocoa! "Oooh~."
With a smile on her face, the blonde slipped out of her shoes and made a beeline straight to the den, then to the fire where she dropped to her knees, and held her palm out, "This is nice," she murmurs, and quickly swaps over to 'bitching' mode, "It never gets this cold where -I'm- from. After the New Year, this season sucks."
Huff huff. "You said there's cocoa, right? Get one for me, Ella. And what are we baking today? We should make another dessert later."
"Sure sure." Ella uncurled from the couch with a bit of a stretch. Normal Hattie mode never lasted very long, sadly. "It must have been an adjustment coming to Frell, even if it didn't snow as much there."
Kyra, as Hattie moved over to the fireplace to warm up, padded over to the blonde curiously to sniff at her clothes. Ooo, where'ya been huh? Cat might head over with a little present too, wherever the menace was.
"Um -- sure, no problem with that. How about a souffle?"
Souffle? ".. I suppose. I don't know, something a man would like is fine.." Hattie decides aloud and falls onto her side with a sigh. Yes, something for a man she doesn't -have-. She closed her eyes a moment to groan, and when she opened them, there was a beast right in her face ready to eat her! She let out a shriek and had never gotten to her feet so fast in her life. And not just on her feet, on the couch as well, "Stay back! Stay away from me! Help! Help!!" Eat pillow, wolf scum!
Where was Cat? That's actually an easy one- It would seem when Hattie came in, she didn't close the door all the way, allowing the feline to pad on outside and do a little looking around. By the time Ella notices the door is open and (hopefully) moves to close it, Cat would bound back in, chasing company.
