Dec 02, 2011 18:36

Who: found_my_light, ibreakrules and ANYONE
When: Thursday, December 1st.
Where: Purgatory
Summary: Teito's NOT celebrating his 17th birthday while Frau works. Except he's never done so before. Really he's just hoping for a job as a busboy or something so he doesn't have to sit and wait on Frau to get off work anymore....
Warnings: None, really? Will update if needed
Happy Birthday to you, you live in a zoo... )

[Frau is still spending most of his time tending to his job even though Teito is sitting in a corner for his birthday. Considering there isn't much choice, it would have to work. The only problem is that Teito is quite visibly thinking far too much. He watched his apprentice for a little while, trying to figure out the best way to get the kid to relax and enjoy himself. It was his birthday after all. Probably the first one he's ever celebrated.]

[Unfortunately for them both, Teito doesn't even notice the scrutiny. Nor does he pay any mind to the entertainment or even the waitress that drifted by the table. He's too deep in thoughts, and memory, belatedly remembering the last one he'd had.

Thank you for being born, Teito!

He shook his head and closed his eyes for a moment, let the memory of his friend's voice and the sincerity in his tone was over him like a soothing balm, Mikage's name a whisper caught between his lips and hands, too soft to be heard over the din of the club.]

Hey, brat.

[Frau was suddenly there standing beside his apprentice. His eyes were still scanning the bar to make sure everything was alright, but even without looking at him it was obvious that he was addressing Teito.]

You want something to drink?

[This isn't the first time Dante's been to Purgatory. In fact he's been here quite a few times, enough to take note of a few regulars, and it's one of these regulars who is the object of his attention today.

The fact is, Dante doesn't usually carry anything with him except his weapons and his attitude, but he has a very particular question today. He takes out a magazine from inside his coat. He then strides confidently up to a table of women, singling out one of them.]

Hey there, miss beautiful.

[The woman in question giggles.]

I can't help but notice...Is this you? [And he opens the magazine right to the middle page. Anyone who was close enough would notice it was a two-page picture of the person he was talking to, sans clothes ( ... )

[Hattie was here! Though this kind of environment wasn't exactly what she was used to, but at least she looked good! She wasn't really here to see Ella, but after realizing both her and Frau worked there, she'd check it out.]

Hmn, interesting.

[She looked for one or the other, but ended up catching sight of Teito! Without waiting for service she made her way over to the young boy, greeting him with a smile - There's a shopping bag in one hand, her other hand upon her hip.]

Is this seat taken?

[Teito glanced from the woman to the seat and back, then shook his head. His eyes a little wide, unsure as to why she was speaking to him so suddenly, he just glanced around to see if she had any of the other women from the dinner there with her - well except Ella. But Ella had been pretty busy since he'd arrived, so he was probably safe from having two of them here... right?]

No, it's not occupied, so you can have it if you like. I'm sure they won't mind you taking it somewhere else in here if you need it.

[Yup. He really thinks she just wants the chair.]

[Hattie stared at Teito for a moment, then laughed.]

That is -adorable-.

[After setting her bag down, she took a seat beside Teito, then propped her elbow upon the table (she was raised better than that!) and her chin into her palm.]

What I meant was 'may I sit with you', but I'll go ahead and take that as a 'yes'. I'm Hattie, we met a couple of weeks ago. You wouldn't really forget a face like mine, right Teito?

[She gave a playful pout.]
