Summary: Ella's invited Black Star over for dinner. Hattie doesnt know about Black Star's little behavior. This will end in soooo much disaster.
Format: Whatever Black Star and Hattie want to use, I'm not picky!

As Ella placed the last rose in the wine-glass shaped vase on the table, she surveyed the layout. Nothing particularly fancy, but it was a nice set up nonetheless. Again she considered the past few days - she liked Black Star. He was hilarious. And yet deep down, she knew that inviting him to her house for dinner with Hattie present was going to play out so poorly in the end.
It'd be a miracle if it didn't. So why did she invite him? It was deliberately because she knew Hattie wouldn't approve. Someone not approving of someone Ella knew, or something she did was the quickest way to ensure that Ella would keep right on, out of sheer stubbornness. So after informing Hattie that they would have guests, and sending Black Star directions to the house, all they had to do is wait.
