He's bone tired, probably moreso than he'd ever let on to anyone who asked. Since nightfall and the earthquake, he's been running, fighting off both hunger, fear, and monsters of every kind to save every life he could. Even though it's a different universe, his newly taken vow still stands: no one dies, not on his watch, and he's doing everything he can to make good on that promise to everyone but himself.
He's bone tired, but the day isn't over with. It takes hours of patrolling -- and it seems like days, really -- until the sun rises, and even then, he catches a quick catnap before going out again, this time as Peter Parker, camera in hand. The world is not shaken to its core, but he knows a story when it happens; the camera snaps to preserve every moment, to capture the feel of the city as its people struggle back to normalcy.
When he's done, he finds himself sitting -- just sitting, his legs feeling like jello -- on the steps leading up to Magneto's apartment complex. He thinks it's ironic, in a way, that he's living under the same roof as one of the most dangerous men in the world, but most everything about the Port challenges one of his perceptions in some way or another. The best he can do is to take everything as it comes.
He doesn't even hear Jubilee approach.
