Erik was puttering around the kitchen, making coffee, checking on bread and other baking, and working on a tablet computer that was in pieces on a small table pushed into the kitchen. He wasn't sure Claudio was going to show up but he waiting downstairs in case. He needed to get meat for Old Lace today, although he might send Gert for it.
