[ Despite any and all encouragement, he doesn't exactly mingle with the crowd so much as he maneuvers them. Dressed in dark, yet not entirely formal clothing, he lingers from the earlier hours towards the latter part of the evening, observing more than anything else.

It wouldn't do for a man his age to 'jive' with the younger generation, after all, would it? ]

[Speaking of the younger generation? There's suddenly one in front of him, dressed head to toe in lingerie, and holding out a freshly poured glass of wine. Jinx looks at him, smirking, brow quirked. Her hips are thrown off to the side in a manner that definitely notes he's not getting away.]

Carmel Vintage. I keep it in stock for Daddy, but I can't find him tonight. So, I guess you could say I'm pawning it off on the next old man I see.

[ The most subtle of smiles tilts the corner of his mouth, ironic yet amused as he accepts the proffered glass. ]

As long as you don't make a habit of it.

[ If he wasn't recognizable before, the voice should be telling enough. ]

[Oh, she recognizes him all right, But she's not about to make a big deal of it. Nope, she's just giving a customer some expensive wine on the house.]

I pride myself in being unpredictable, but I seem to have a thing for getting older men drunk. It's my calling card.

[Chuckling, she leans down to adjust one of her garters, tugging up the stocking.]

[ Very classy, Jinx. His smile widens just a tad, his expression revealing nothing. ]

[She is the most classy. Still making sure everything is secure, she looks up to Slade and grins. Then, she glances intentionally across the club at Gabriel.]

Yeah, I think so.

[ Ah, of course. The angelic beau.

He inclines his head slightly and raises the glass in her direction. ]

A toast to the lady's talents.

[ This said without any irony whatsoever. ]

[Jinx stands up straight. With a snicker, she pantomimes a drink and "toasts" him. There's even a sharp ping when her claw taps against his wineglass.]

Thank you, thank you. I managed to land the biggest idiot in the Port and all I got was this lousy million dollar party.

[Oh, but she sounds just so smug about it. She places both hands on her hips and looks him up and down.]

Now, you look like Purgatory's regular crowd. You know, the fine desserts, the cabaret, the classy music...so why is it I finally see you show up tonight?

[ He takes a sip of wine, casual and unconcerned as he peers at her over the rim. A brow quirks, only slightly, at her antics. ]

Do you keep such close tabs on all of your patrons?

[ Because he may very well have visited before. ]
