Blaine loved the energy in Purgatory tonight. He enjoyed the place almost all of the time, but tonight was exciting and different. Kurt had once teased him for being 'Top 40' and there is some honesty in that observation, so working with a theme that forces him to look away from the modern popular music he considers 'safe' was fun for him is a great lesson. Then again, most of what Jinx has done with him since he started working here has been a challenging learning experience.

When Blaine is on stage he sticks with hits from one artist, focusing on David Bowie for now to give himself something to center on rather than jumping all over the decade with different artists. He starts off with Velvet Goldmine.

When he's not on stage he can be found around the House, helping the rest of staff take care of their customers.

Kurt couldn't help but laugh as Blaine took every opportunity to get on the stage, and watched with pride as his boyfriend tore every number apart. He lingered on the sidelines, occasionally working on a (non-alcoholic) drink as he nursed his own voice. He wanted to shout at the end of Blaine's latest performance, but preserved his voice and applauded loudly instead.

As soon as Blaine has the moment to see Kurt he finds his boyfriend at the side of the crowd and comes up to give him a hug. He's still at his work so it's just a short, sweet embrace.

"Are you enjoying the show?"

"Of course," replied Kurt, his hands sliding over Blaine's shoulders to hold onto them. "Come on, take a break. Have something to drink."

Blaine smiled and looked curiously at Kurt's glass. "What are you drinking?" he asked Kurt, smiling at him as she moved to relax a bit with Kurt.

"Nothing exciting," replied Kurt, handing his glass over. "Just ginger ale. Drink up, cowboy. Your adoring fans await you."

Blaine took a sip of the drink and looked over at Kurt, smiling a bit. "Tonight is about the Runaways and Jinx," he pointed out. He didn't mind not being a center of attention here, it was good enough to just be on stage.

"Well good," said Kurt, smiling in return. He was feeling rather affectionate, and admittedly possessive. "That gives you ample time to spend with me, then."

Blaine chuckled softly and shifted a little closer to Kurt. "You look amazing," he said softly, the closeness needed so that Kurt can hear him over the noise of the club. Kurt's clothing choice was always beautiful, he even manged to make the Dalton uniform stand out in a sea of red and dark blue, but this was different. Kurt was wearing leather pants.

Blaine was dressed for the part as well. His hair was styled up and in a bit of a mess, he had on eyeliner. He smiled at Kurt as he looked over Kurt's choice in clothing. He approved of the entire presentation.

"You think so?" Kurt murmured, smiling a bit suggestively. He'd been a bit nervous putting the outfit on, honestly--it was one of his riskier pieces--but Blaine's opinion was really all that mattered to him. "It's not too much?"

"Never. You always pull off everything you wear," Blaine pointed out. He reached out and put a hand on Kurt's leg. "Where did you find these?" he asked, meaning the pants.

Kurt gasped in a mock-indignant sort of way, though he blushed as he felt Blaine's hand on his leg. "I refuse to reveal my secrets," he said haughtily, and slid a little closer. After a beat's hesitation he moved to sit on Blaine's lap, much like he had by the piano that one evening--though his intentions were different this time; he'd just caught sight of a nearby woman eyeing Blaine with great interest from the other end of the bar.

Blaine was surprised by the movement but he wasn't about to complain, not when there was a Kurt wearing leather pants in his lap. His arm moved around Kurt to hold him lightly.

"Well, wherever you got them, they look amazing."

Smiling proudly, Kurt glanced over to wink at the woman and saw her turn away with a disgusted look. Pleased, he snuggled close.

"I hope you don't have any plans of moving anytime soon."

Blaine hadn't even realized he was being looked at by a woman, so he was a little surprised by Kurt's wink. He realized then why Kurt moved to his lap and found himself a little amused by the whole thing. Kurt being jealous was ridiculously adorable to him.

"I do have to eventually get back to work," Blaine pointed out, though he didn't seem as if he was planing on letting Kurt up soon.

"They can survive without you, I'm sure," said Kurt delicately and leaned back against Blaine to prove his point. PDA was always nerve-racking, especially PDA like this, but something was slowly changing within Kurt-- He wasn't sure if it was comfort with Blaine or simply a result of being on his own so long, but fear seemed to slowly be leaving him, trickling away in small droplets one by one.
