The excitement of the opening day had pushed Sakura into waking up early today to start adding the finishing touches to the place before people started to come. Her eagerness helped speed along the chores she had planned, and she was nearly done an hour before they expected to open.
Then Sakura remembered an important sign she had to make for today, and she took down the blank chalk board by the entryway and began to draw out the welcome sign for everyone to see. She carefully added the parts about the specials for today, including the special for NCC members getting a free drink with their meals. It was embarrassing for her to have something she made on display like that, but she was still proud at how well it turned out.
Having completed the signage for the day, she checked back with Fai and her other work friends, just to make sure they were ready before they opened the place for business. Her eagerness granted her the option to be the first one to switch the open sign over, welcoming anyone who was already waiting outside into the restaurant.
