His face is vaguely familiar to her, but her own exhaustion and their barely existent acquaintance mean she can't place where she should know him from. He might vaguely recognize her from the bake sale and maid cafe, if he dropped by. She comes to a stop next to the sign advertising the new scones, automatically reaches out to put one on her tray... and pauses.
The look on her face, as her gaze drills into the scones, should be familiar to him: the silent, internal struggle of someone trying to answer the ponderous question of should I, or shouldn't I? It's not like she would be the one eating them... ]

I'm looking for some things to bring home later... for tea. [ Now that she can hear his voice, recognition hits-- she's heard him speak to Break on the network, a few times. ] It's for, um, Mr. Break. You're one of his friends, aren't you...?

Her smile widens a little at Gilbert's reaction, something wry and amused in a way that lights her face up. Despite his assured weirdness, she has her own fondness for Xerxes Break. ] I've been living with him and Lady Sharon, actually-- since March. I guess I'm kind of his subordinate too, at least as far as helping out around the house is concerned.

Apron or not, the change in his posture alters his demeanor quite a bit, and she resists the urge to curtsey in return. ] It's nothing, really-- I'm sorry, I don't believe I've introduced myself properly. My name is Yako Katsuragi. [ A bit of maneuvering manages to free up one of her hands, and she holds it out for him to shake. ]

[ She shakes his hand firmly; her own aren't exactly as soft as they could be expected to be, either. ] So you work here, Mr. Nightray? As a baker...?

What would you recommend? I usually drop by here for the cakes, myself, but I'm not really sure what to get Mr. Break this time. He isn't always specific about what he wants for tea.

[ And some scones go onto the tray, despite her doubts, and she heads to the counter to get them rung up. ]

She hadn't know who Gilbert was personally, then, or who Daedalus was talking about. Now it makes a horrifying sort of sense. ]
Ah, you don't really need to do that! Just the scones will be fine. They look ... really good! [ And she has to pause to look down and check the veracity of her claim. Yeah, they actually do look surprisingly appetizing. ]
