Who: Ciel and Phancyhive residents who dare to even approach him? Hannah, Alois and idk?
When: Evening before sirens, May 26th.
Where: Outside in the gardens, under the tree where Rachel Phantomhive was buried.
Summary: After taking out his anger on Claude (Read shooting him and slapping him a bit) Ciel decides to try and cool down as far away from everything as he can.
Warnings: Uhh...creepy talk. Also slow on my part because I'm still on hiatus.
Ciel had been sitting. He didn't know how long it had been since he'd come out here to visit his mother's grave, but it seemed like an appropriate place to go. In fact, it was the only place to go. There was no Jack to run to, no tiny apartment to hole up in anymore, no Sebastian to order to rid himself of everything and burn it all down-
There was just hard earth, grass, and the past beneath him to comfort him.
Perhaps he was being overly dramatic. Perhaps he shouldn't have done what he had. (Shooting Claude probably wasn't the wisest move - not because it'd damage the demon but, naturally, the sound would've been heard throughout the house.) Even so, if he hadn't done something he would've exploded...which he kind of had regardless.
It didn't matter now. Very little did.
Knees up to his chest there was a stick in hand as he poked at the ground below, the ornate headstone Undertaker had crafted for Rachel Phantomhive at his side. The sun was setting - soon it'd be gone completely and the sirens would sound. Would it even be worth the effort to go inside when they did decide to wail? He probably should but what would be the point?
What was his reason to still be here? Did he even have one anymore?
"Are you comfortable, Mother?" A soft utterance, barely audible to even his own ears. "I'm so tired. Sometimes I envy you, you know?"
He'd brought her white roses and set them down atop the grave. It looked like a lovely little earthen bed - cold, of course, but relaxing. Maybe a little lonely but...one could deal with loneliness. Ciel had swallowed enough of it in his lifetime, after all. Here in Siren's Port would be no different.
