[Afternoon, all over the mall yay]

[Larry's snack stand shift was over for the day, so you might see him around the mall picking up some stuff before heading home. Basic needs like clothes, and possibly a treat for his kitten. And new art materials. It's almost as if he has more luck with his being a freelance artist than working at the stand in the bowling alley.]

[topslug]

[ Trotting through the mall-- by now, she's seen most of it-- when she catches sight of what looks like a familiar face. She hesitates for a moment, wondering if she could call out, then raises a hand to enthusiastically wave. ]

Hey! Mr. Butz!

[ Aaaand she's coming over, though the long hair trailing behind her certainly isn't how Larry last remembers seeing her. ]

[Larry turns; he was looking at a formal suit that looked like a real babe magnet and lamenting the fact that he would never be able to afford it -

Someone's calling him. And he can't shake the feeling that he knows this pretty girl from somewhere...]

[ Once he turns, she's sure it's him, and her smile grows a little bit wider. She comes to a stop once she's close enough for him to get a good look at her, and beams, pointing at herself. ]

It's me-- Yako!

[troublesmells]

H-huh? [And somewhere in the space between his ears, a dim bulb brightens.]

Oh, hey, Yako! [He grins back at her.] I almost didn't recognize you - you look even cuter than usual!

[ A sheepish grin-- she isn't much to look at on her own, she knows, but Akane certainly makes her hair look a lot better than it otherwise would... ]

Thanks! What are you doing here, though? [ She peers curiously behind him. ]

I just finished work, so yeah, I'm shopping. What about you?

[topslug]

Mmm, I work here, but I'm off for the rest of today too! Right now, I'm just looking around for a place to eat.

[ Never mind that lunch was just a few hours ago. ]

Where d'you work here?

At the Cozy Chestnut Cafe! It's on the third floor.

[troublesmells]

I didn't know you worked there! Why don't we go find a restaurant?

[topslug]

[ Awkward laughter. ] Sure... Nothing too expensive, though! I kind of eat a lot.

[troublesmells]

Then let's go to the food court, and you can choose whatever you want! [He gives her a thumbs-up, beckons her over and starts walking toward the food court.]

All right! [ Nodding, she trails after him. It doesn't take long to reach the food court, and once they're there, she starts hemming and hawing over the selections. ]

Ahh, geez... there's so much to choose from!

[troublesmells]

I know a great burger stand here somewhere - right there! [He points to it.] The fries are also awesome!

[ Ahhh, burgers! That brings back good memories of her first day in Siren's Port. ]

I guess we're having burgers, then!

[ She turns to head off toward it, lightly bumping against Larry in the process. ]
