Maya had been as upset as anyone at her disappearance, hadn't she? And wasn't it supposed to be a celebration when people came back, even if this wasn't a super great place to be stuck in? When she didn't answer his messages on her NV - despite being in the same apartment - he went to knock on her door instead. What if she was ill, or dead, or worse? And why oh why hadn't he checked earlier?!]
