[Well, at long last, Sarina finally quit her job at Coconut's. In spite of her constant complaints about the job though, the fact was that she was actually pretty well-liked within the restaurant, so naturally her co-workers insisted that they have one last night out

[Alex eventually gets the time to wander over to her. He's not really one to just hang out and do small talk, but he at least wants to acknowledge that she's here. Sarina is, after all, practically his only "friend". Besides that, she'd been giving him information about a new corporate takedown plot.

He approaches, giving her a little nod as he does.]

[And there's her favorite person ever. Had she known he worked here, she would have come without any coaxing from her co-workers...who were off doing their own thing by now anyway.

It was always a little weird greeting him, just because she wasn't quite sure what was okay with him. Even if he was the person she felt the closest to, he was still damned hard to read sometimes.

She didn't have to fake a smile though, as she gave a slight wave to him.]

[Alex comes a little closer, shoving some people out of the way - not hard, just enough to get them to move and give them some space. His eyes stay locked with hers, looking at her intently.]

You mean tonight?

[If she was bothered by him shoving his way through the crowd, she sure as hell didn't express it. Sarina was more glad he actually came to her, actually.

Amazingly, he was one of the very few people she didn't feel cowed from looking directly into his eyes, so she kept the gaze. A corner of her lip quirked up at his response in amusement, before she shook her head with her reply.]

No, I mean in general. [Her eyes flickered at his outfit for a brief moment, before she continued to glance back at him.] You work here, right? Haha?

[Some parts of her reminded him of his sister. The demeanor, the look, and how they were growing closer despite uncertainty in the beginning. But Sarina was also a lot different than Dana was.]

... since Merlotte got his own place. I worked at Club 24 before, too. Ever since October.

[It's funny, because the reason she originally started to open up to him was because he seemed similar to her unitmates -- and if she couldn't trust someone like that, who could she trust? She knew now that he was quite a bit different, although at this point it really didn't matter to her.]

[She glanced around the room quickly, making sure no one was too close to overhear anything, before continuing.]

[He blinks at the reply - if it were anyone else he'd be irritated, perhaps by some implication that didn't exist, but it wasn't the case with her.

After looking around briefly too:]

[A subtle glimpse of a mischievous smirk crossed her lips and if anyone were to witness the scene, it might almost seem like she was flirting...but it wasn't her intention. She was just excited. It was that kind of work she was more used to -- and she wasn't being blackmailed into it for once.]

[And he grins in response, an extremely rare reaction. But really, the prospect of fucking over the companies, especially SERO? It just brings him genuine happiness. Anticipation and excitement over tangible revenge.]

Wouldn't miss it for anything.

[So rare indeed, that Sarina was almost startled by his reaction. But she liked it...and she was sure she understood. In spite of her own perpetual laughter, she herself was rarely in a true state of bliss -- although finding herself in the middle of a battle brought her an uncomparable thrill. As much as she tried to mask it, the truth was that she was still incredibly fucked up. At least now, she had some purpose to justify her violence.

When she got excited though, her touchy-feely urges tended to emerge. It was a habit brought on by a particularly odd trait of the Beauties nanomachines -- although she would never seek to bring Alex harm. However, she fought to keep her hands to herself, even if she control it to be nonfatal. She at least had enough sense to know it probably wasn't appropriate. So she subtly fidgeted with her hands as she continued.]

I'm glad. It should be fun, hmm? Heeheehee~!

[Seemed like they were having all sorts of fun, lately.]

[He nods, still looking a bit unsure of talking about it despite no specifics being given. His eyes flick to her hands, despite Sarina trying to hide it.]

[She tilted her head in a playful manner, as she responded.]

Then we've got to make sure we don't.

[She wanted to say more, but subtlety was the key here...and she wasn't sure if anyone was listening in.]

[Sarina lifted her fingers just slightly...before chastising herself again to keep her hands at bay. It led to some major awkwardness the last person she did that with (even if there was some fucked up magic behind that), so she was making more of an effort to control herself.]

Well - uh I don't want to tie you up, or anything. But I guess I should come over here more often, huh?
