[The hour arrives and Merlotte's opens its door for the first time. Things start slowly, and Sam starts to wonder if he gave enough time for his ad to run, or if there needs to be more word of mouth to get people showing up - maybe he'd printed the date wrong -
But then dinnertime rolls around, the local band arrives, and Sam no longer has the time to sit around and worry. By eight o'clock the place is full of sound - music, laughter, chiming glasses and the crack of billiards from the second floor.
Well, Siren's Port, looks like it's going to be a long night. Drink up.
