Who: William T. Spears
pushesupglasses and Grell Sutcliff
deathknellgrellWhen: Right after
this.Where: William's place at the starter apartments.
Summary: Unable to leave an unconscious Grell on the side of the street after dark, William reluctantly brings him home and tosses him on his couch. Grell awakens, completely forgetful of what had caused his head injury. Tons of misunderstandings ensue.
Warnings: Lots of double entendres.
Why he always stuck his neck out for this thing, William would never know. Grell Sutcliff never learned from his recklessness and William was forced to come to his rescue nearly every time. But he was responsible for him. And whether or not they were currently on the job, he couldn't risk losing even Sutcliff as an officer should they ever make it back to London.
William hoisted Grell's limp body up more as he drifted through the darkness towards his apartment. Perhaps he should have interjected before Grell's face had met that wall. Then he wouldn't have to lug him around like unnecessary luggage, and the he also would have been able to ask the thing where his own place was.
But as much of a nuisance Grell Sutcliff was, William wasn't cold enough to leave him lying in the streets somewhere till he regained consciousness. Otherwise, what would have been the point of saving him to begin with?
So with a heavy sigh, William T. Spears unlocked his apartment door and dropped the redhead on the nearby couch before going to get himself ready for bed.
