Who: Miharu and Yoite
When: backdated to earlier today! before the darkness. afternoon, I should think.
Where: around sector 4.
Summary: They're out and they're looking for new apartments, but people are punks and Miharu is tiny and Yoite is just really bad at being a Good Guy.
Warnings: Initial violence. Yoite being stupid. Miharu's shorts. Creepy men. Miharu is probably female. watashi wa kira dess. Us getting distracted halfway through and then picking back up.
The landlord isn't exactly a generous man, but Miharu's face could sway an army; they've got an extra week, with only slightly reduced rent. It's a huge blessing, but not one that will last for long, and so even Yoite's helping with the effort to find housing. They've been walking for what feels like all day, but is really just part of the afternoon. Still, Yoite isn't used to it. He claims to be capable, but he vastly prefers being stationary.
So, it's a relief when Miharu suggests he sit for a while - there's a wooden bench, and while Yoite wants to hurry and be through with this, while he doesn't want Miharu to think he can't handle being out here, he can't refuse the offer. He sits heavily, removing his hat to place it in his lap and tilting his head back just a little to take a deep breath.
There's a lemonade vendor nearby. Miharu's caught on by now that Yoite really favors that drink (it would be hard not to notice it), and Yoite doesn't stop Miharu when the boy leaves across the street to get some. A little purchase like this won't hurt, for now. Miharu probably hasn't eaten, today, and Yoite will just get dehydrated, so the lemonade will be really beneficial.
