Rush out, out from the center;

Dec 30, 2010 14:09

Who: argentallure and walkthedawn
When: Late Thursday Night
Where: En Route => Church of Jonova, Sector 6.
Summary: Yazoo runs the same route from the night of the Earthquake. This time, however, Kadaj is not with him.
Warnings: Will add as necessary.

This route is familiar. Rushing across the streets at a speed far too high to be legal, but not caring. But the earthquake's damage had all been repaired since then, fixed and allowing the humans to go about their lives and forget about the happenings.

Yazoo remembers this ride in two ways - his own, barely a hair's breath away to the left side of Kadaj as they raced, and with the other on his own, the same path, the same way, with a shadow that couldn't be named at his side, as always like always.

But without Yazoo. Without the memory of the connection to his brother.

Yaha can't be trusted, but Yazoo can't see past the sore point of his brother. The other treats them well, but there was a web of not-quite deceit and manipulation, twisting of words that kept Yazoo from realizing it. It's all for brother, he had just been helping, so went the silky smooth words.

As he rounds the corner to speed though the next intersection, finding the path filled with Darkness Monsters, the Remnant isn't quite so sure what he is doing anymore in the little corner of his mind that belongs to him.

So he pushes it away, banking the bike hard to stop in the middle of the street, hand straying to retrieve his Gunblade. There were other ways to take his mind off of things, and he could do it like this.

The crack-bang of Velvet nightmare is lost in the hissing roar of the Darkness mass he's aimed at, and it's on him with a bloodthirsty howl not but a moment later.

riku, yazoo
