Re-l had thoroughly enjoyed her first Christmas, despite feeling like she had been spoiled rotten by Daedalus. All of her gifts had been well received and she wore some of them now: Fratley's muffler and gloves for her, the beret Daedalus got for her, to name two. She hadn't quite had the gall to wear the necklace that Jack had gotten her yet; she was saving that for when she next saw him.

She had a few of the things to save Daedalus from toppling all over himself. She had her gifts and a couple of the desserts in her own bag, and she was glad to help him out. "Why bother with the bell?" she asked, rolling her eyes, but she rang it anyway, shrugging. "I just hope he won't be too cross with us showing up announced."

"If he does, at least we won't be obligated to stay long." Daedalus shrugged smoothly, loftily.

On second though, with Nana, ĥe probably wouldn't be able to get away with dropping in for any less than ten minutes. She liked to latch herself around his middle and not let go- after a full set of multiple sticker rolls, he had a feeling she'd be even more adhesive.

He smiled at her briefly, admiring. "...See, I knew that hat suited you, when I saw it. Very cosmopolitan- it lends to your sophistication."

Now, you see, Mister, well Uncle now, Raul had made one of the rules strictly to not answer the door while Nana and Pino were home alone, since Nana had a bad habit of doing so. She'd learned her lesson, strove to be good and when she heard the chime of the bell, she was going to rush to it but was forced to hesitate. She wasn't allowed to answer the door, right?

But that was only when Uncle Raul wasn't home. He was home, this time. So...it'd be okay, right?

Rushing to the door she almost tripped over herself and lost a leg, using one of her Vectors to push herself up so she could peer through the peep hole, grinning widely when she spotted who it was. It only took a second before she'd unlocked the door, swinging it open cheerfully.

"Doctor Yumeno! Re-l!"

Pino had been sitting in the living room watching the dark clouds overhead when the knock on the door came, watching curiously from her spot as Nana hurried over to open in. Had this been before the virus, she may have requested that Nana wait while Papa opened the door, but as it was, she simply sat there and waited for their guests to walk in.

The names spoken by her sister, however, immediately made her jump up from her spot and rush to the door. Sorry Re-l, before you have a chance to walk inside, you'll have a tiny AutoReiv clinging to your leg. It's an apology, really.

"Re-l! Re-l!"

"Well, that won't be so bad," she commented idly to Daedalus, stepping back as the door swung open. There was Nana first and Re-l offered a smile to the girl, watching as she cried out their names loudly in greeting. The older woman just smiled. "Merry Christmas, Nana," she said gently.

She hadn't expected for the second girl to come flying out to grip onto her leg. Re-l stood her ground and kept herself from falling over from the weight of the AutoReiv clinging to her, and she brought a hand down to set it on top of her head. "Pino," she admonished with a smile, glad that the girl wasn't afraid of her any longer. "Merry Christmas to you too."

Daedalus was grateful that Nana didn't throw herself around him today like he had at the Phantomhive Party, or else the heavy boxes would have gone flying.

"Merry Christmas, girls." He smiled, edging his way inside the door and looking for a place to put the presents, glancing around for any sign of Raul.

"Pino, is your Papa up and awake?"

Raul had been sleeping up until half an hour ago; as of now, a quick shower was all it took for him to wake up, and he had been in the middle of getting dressed when the doorbell rang. Not that he heard it well, the door being closed and his room in the back.

But he could certainly hear the sound of two girls stomping toward the door, and so, running a comb through his hair, he opened the door to his bedroom and leaned out slightly. He was only wearing pants and an unbuttoned undershirt, after all.

"Girls, tell whoever it is to-- ah," He hid his surprise with a small smile. "Re-l, Daedalus, hello. I'd ask to what do we owe the pleasure, but from the packages in your hands, I can already guess. Please come in, I'll be out in a moment."

Ah - and there was Papa answering the question for her! Smiling up at Re-l, she detached herself from the woman's leg and ran back inside, content to simply stand by and watch the two of them enter and make themselves at home, not thinking to ask if she could get them anything to drink or take their coats or any of that.

Though, she was eying the packages in their hands curiously, as any child would.

"Re-l? How come Vince didn't come over with you?"

As the adults moved inside, trying to situate themselves, Nana stood off to the side to let them have some room, smiling quietly and excitedly as they wished them Merry Christmas and Doctor Yumeno tried to find a place to put the presents. She was going to tell him he could put them under the small Christmas tree they had, but she fell quiet when Pino asked her question.

One wasn't supposed to interrupt others, after all.

But after it was asked she had her own, holding out her hands helpfully with a shy smile. "Nana can take things like coats or boxes for Re-l and Doctor Yumeno if they need it."
