[ He's out of fingers, so he just bares his teeth instead. ]

His fingernails dig against the table, leaving long furrows.

[Maya has zero desire to visit you, Grimmjow. But she is passing by him with a bag of stuff in one arm, and carrying what seems to be a board game in the other. And she hasn't seem to noticed him, instead focusing on pretending nothing is wrong for Edgeworth's sake]

He waits patiently until she's just about to pass him, then hauls back and slams his fist against the barrier that separates them, hard enough to make metal and plastic rattle from the impact. ]

[She does more than just jolt - she screams. The board game clatters to the floor, then she whirls around to face him, jumping back]

[ Now that he's got her attention--

He lifts a hand, palm up, flicking his fingers in the universal "come here" gesture. ]

[Nope, she's not moving any closer. She still looks terrified though]

[ That's one more thing that's going to piss him off, on top of all the other things that have pissed him off lately. ]
