[But he walked, silent and steady, the glow of fire around the barrel of his rifle spun and lead his way. His feet careful, steady to feel the vibrations through the earth. This city gave off such a rattle, but in the hunting grounds he could feel less disturbance.]
[As darkness suddenly appeared to him, the black stripe on his head glowed, his eyes snapped to a black color that glowed oddly white and a burst of light tempted to shoot from his body to try and send the Darkness away. A hand left his rifle, swinging in a huge long arc to send a blast of air sharply off in the direction of the arc, changing the air pressure around him a short distance. The rocks around him stood on end and zipped off, not aiming at anything, but pinging the ground with hard impacts, trying to feel and see. At first, he didn't quite understand why that had happened. Was the hunter blind? No, he seemed just fine, which meant this was more about gaining an advantage.
He had noticed the darkness, though. Pity. He'd need to get close enough to really surprise him, but for now, Riku simply summoned as much darkness he could muster as a distraction and sent it at the man's unprotected side just as he disappeared. He came back into view mere inches from where the man would be turning, blade drawn to strike at the gun in his hands.]

[He yelled, feeling the rifle break, dropping i to put both his hands up, summoning fire before him, in hopes to burn off the dark and the attack. He said nothing, his eyes alight with a red glow now] You've disturbed my hunt!
[Needless to say his anger left him open to the darkness, not dealing with it now as he sent off flames at the attacker. Dawww, you broke his gun. He's not happy; he's also easy to take over now]

What a shame.
[Xehanort's voice echoes his own fantastically, a jarring sound, and he brings up a shield to ward off the fire. He steps closer only to strike at him with the reigning dark that's left to gather in his free hand. A little closer and he can bring out Guardian to take care of him.]
