Who: Big Boss & anyone that wants to see a grouchy, blind old man bound to a hospital bed
When: Sunday to Wednesday? WHENEVER YOU LIKE
Where: Skye Medical
Summary: Big Boss almost got killed while chasing the remnants with Triela, but instead of losing his life he just lost his eye and is now in the hospital! Whoo! He also punched a doctor in the face. It's a general 'go bother' log.
Warnings: TL;DR? Perhaps language, mentions of violence and maybe some blood, but as long as no one tries to murder BB in his sleep, there should be nothing else.

Well, that hadn't nearly gone the way he wanted it to go, and not only when it came to Kadaj and Yazoo, but that was something he could continue thinking about when he was fully conscious and not in a daze from the bloodloss. There was a reason Jack avoided hospitals; aside from disliking the silence and sterile atmosphere, he also didn't trust most doctors. He was used to either patching himself up most of the time, or having his very own personal doctor that would take care of him; however, over the years and due to some unfortunate events, he'd lost his trust in his family doc, as well.

But he realized he had little choice in the matter. He'd made his bed, and now he had to sleep in it; and even if he wanted, he didn't have the strength or the means to make it home on his own. And Triela wouldn't let him leave, injured like that, though aside from his head it really wasn't that bad -

'--foreign body under his skin? Some sort of metal wire. We need to get that out.'

Until that.

'Don't touch that,' was his growled response, and he batted a hand away. It was misunderstood, and ignored.

'--local anesthesia, and keep the man down.'

'I said don't touch me!'

Even though his left arm was broken and he could only pinpoint who the doctor in charge was by the sound of his voice, Jack had still enough strength to break the man's nose and almost put his shoulder out of joint. In the end, it took three grown men with slightly augmented powers and a strong sedative to keep him down, as well as the doctors' indignant affirmation that he'd step down from treating this patient, and that 'someone else who considers themselves crazy enough would have to treat a beast like that'. Well, if that weren't professional competence and readiness for duty right there. Not like Jack cared; the combination of bloodloss and sedatives given to him by the nurses were enough, and unconsciousness finally took over. Whatever they did to him beyond that point wasn't for him to notice anymore. He just wanted to have his eyesight back when he woke up.

He didn't. But something else was gone, too: the pain in his chest. It was the first thing he noticed when awareness came trickling back into his mind, and if the drugs weren't still coursing through his body, he might have been awake enough to yell at somebody - anybody, though there was no one else in the room with him, but he didn't know that. Being left in absolute darkness was the worst feeling; restrained to a bed, and unaware of how much time had passed - actually, it wasn't such an unfamiliar situation. If he didn't know that he was here for medical treatment, he could've sworn this was another torture session, and his captors would speak up anytime.

But they didn't. An hour or two of absolute silence save for the ECG (it was driving him mad) passed; he wasn't sure, until a nurse checked up on him. She asked him if he'd calmed down now and was nice enough to free him of his restraints, but only once she'd made sure that he was still unable to move around freely by giving him another injection of whatever the hell it was they'd pumped into his veins.

Jack didn't like hospitals. He'd be able to see the doctor and other people later; talk about his condition, she said, and the police might want a word with him too, but he didn't care about that, either. "I want to go home," he demanded; instinctively not asking about his eye. After all, he had people to look after. His request was ignored, the bandage around his head replaced by a fresh one. He groaned. "Look, I - did you get what I said? I'm fine and I want to leave."

That'll be difficult in your condition.

"My legs are working." If a little unresponsive, right now; but he just had to get those drugs out of his system. He shifted, attempting to sit up. It didn't work. He didn't see, but she shook her head, gave him another injection, and left. He fell back into the sheets, groaning, and began to try and peel the bandage from his head, but gave up after a minute or two.

Jack hated hospitals, and this was why. If he had any luck, Kadaj and Yazoo would come back and kill him.
