[OPEN LOG] a whole new world

Where: The Abandoned Baseball Diamond
Summary: Kippei and Yuzuyu arrive in Siren's Port together.
Warnings: Wide-eyed fear?
One minute he'd been standing there with an ache in his heart and Yuzu in his arms and the wind from the train had been rustling his hair and Yuzu's, her body warm against his in the sun.
The next minute his body felt tight and squashed and he felt like he was being sucked up by a giant vacuum cleaner and then he was landing, his feet connecting with the ground so hard it felt like his knees snapped. He tumbled forward, curling protectively around Yuzu and pushing his shoulder into the dirt under him to take the brunt of the fall.
"Uff!" The sound escaped him as the breath was knocked out of him and his head connected with the ground. He lay still for a few moments, not even looking around before lifting his head to look worriedly down at Yuzu.
"Are you okay? You didn't get hurt, did you?" he asked, his voice worried.
