It was probably an overstatement to say that Hidan had already adapted to having his mindfucked into oblivion to be puked out into a shitty baseball diamond; but hell if he was going to get conflicted by the fact he lived two different lives, in two different universes -- to be honest, Hidan was more than a little overwhelmed. It just seemed nice to believe that he could handle anything, so with the deep temptation of destruction and ruin that was lost slowly returning to his veins and the appearance of Shikamaru in this shithole ( ... )

What the fuck did it matter? All that mattered to Hidan was to give divine and absolute pain to Shikamaru, and all his brother wanted to do was talk? There was nothing on his mind but to rip Shikamaru from limb to limb, so when the figure before him had dissolved, disappeared like a goddamn illusion, Hidan could only sneer.

Teeth gritted to the point of blood seeping from his gums, and Hidan whirled his tongue around in his mouth, spitting out a glob of blood and saliva distastefully before turning back around. Lips shaped in disdain and eyes narrowed. Who the hell could blame him?

His brother turning out to be the same shithead that buried him alive? Nothing would be a greater family reunion than seeing Shikamaru begging for his fucking life.
