Is everyone aware that CREDIT CARDS DO NOT OPERATE IN THIS CITY?!
A travesty! A dilemma indeed! Oh, the shame of the situation! I discovered a perfectly wonderful commoner's grocery store, right down the street from the apartment building. [gets all shiny eyed] It was full of the most incredible delights--little commoner's candies and instant coffees and prepackaged dinners, as far as the eye could see! So I went up and down the aisles and filled my cart with all sorts of delicious things! Ah, I was so happy, so naive, so trusting in the world!
[FISTCLENCH and a serious face] But when I got to the, er, check out counter, they told me that my credit cards were declined. DECLINED! ALL EIGHT OF THEM! Something about the accounts not being accessible, and a fraud warning... Well, I did not pay attention to the details, because I was TOO UPSET. I was not allowed to buy a thing, not even one single package of commoner's ramen noodles! And here I was planning to purchase a package of pork flavored ramen, my favorite!
[recovers quickly, back to being bright and cheery] That being said, I am: 1. very hungry and 2. in need of one of two things. Either Kyouya needs to come out of hiding and assist me, or I need some sort of employment in order to provide food for myself. Since Kyouya hasn't responded to me running around the city calling his name or the three hundred text messages that I sent him, I seem to be forced into taking a job! It is very exciting, isn't it? I have never done anything like this before! At first, I was going to use my charm and handsome face to solicit food from other people--but that would not be Just or Right! If I am going to live this commoner's life, I must do it by the book! So I will get a job!
AH, BUT IT CANNOT BE JUST ANY JOB! It must be something where I can showcase my multitude of unique talents, something refined that requires a prince type, with very good looks and fantastic hair and an extremely charming spirit! Something cultured and refreshing! So, any ideas? Ah, and of course I will provide a handsome reward to whoever comes up with the best idea! [smile smile smile]
