[Duo is just minding his own business today, walking along while whistling a cheerful tune and tossing an apple up in the air, catching it with probably way too much flair. He kind of notices the weird guy in the cloak but he's not going to stop to talk.]

[Not escaping that easily. He wants to hand off as many of his Requiems as possible, and even the most mundane-looking person can hide dangerous secrets. So he'll quietly approach Duo.]

Excuse me, sir. Would you like a pet...? I've managed to tame some of the more recent creatures--the ones that heal.

[Duo stops whistling and looks over his shoulder at the claoked man curiously.]

Yeah? ... sounds kinda neat. Does it take much to take care of 'em? Gotta admit, I've never had a pet before.

Not much at all. Simply feeding every now and then--a rat or mouse a few times a week.

I'm afraid they tend to run when exposed to light.

Huh. Well... couldn't hurt. It's not like anything in this place is remotely normal anyway.

They're healers, and seem to genuinely enjoy the company of others.

[starts to take it, but hesitates] You want any money or anything for it?

No, I don't require anything. I'm simply too old to take care of as many as I've captured.

Eh. [shrugs, taking the basket] Let's just say I know a thing or two about not having a place to go. If I can give the little guy a home, then at least I've done something right.
