It would be beginning to warm up at home by now. It is sort of dreary here, isn't it? Still...it's almost the exact date that I first arrived in the city, and because I don't remember any of it, rereading over those entries is strange. I was lying then, deceiving all of you, and it's really not surprising seeing how good I was at it that certain few of you don't trust me now. I'm sorry about that, I really am.
[There's the sound of paper shuffling just off screen.]
Valentine's is coming up now, and then after that my birthday. In Japan it's traditional for girls to send gifts to young men, while White Day is reserved for men to return those gifts. I will be...breaking with that tradition this year, in order to give a gift myself--when in Rome do as the Romans do, isn't it? As for my birthday, I hope it's better than my last one. [Light laughs, shaking his head.] To that end I'd like to invite some people out to celebrate it with me. Are there any good places any of you have found to eat out? I keep hearing about this Capri place in the newsfeed--is it any good?
