[Erik is sitting on the roof, in a red seater and slacks. It was simply too noisy in the house. For those who have seen him lately - he looks better than he has in WEEKS. More well rested, less haunted, just all around better.Good morning all ( Read more... )

Depends on experience. [He explains - it's not a lot, at all - they don't have much - and two meals are included.]

[That's... nothing special. But until Griffin can secure the job at Sam's bar, he's going to have to make do with what he can get. At least he has a ton of experience in building; had to build his last three homes before Siren's Port, after all.]

Alright. I've done a lot with building L-- houses, so you won't need to teach me anything.

Wonderful. Would you be all right with, having proven this, being a supervisor of sorts?

[He was home-schooled until he was nine and then self-educated until... well, that's an on-going process. So Griffin can't help but scoff at the question.]

Probably not as good as yours.

[After a few minutes, replies switching to video. Erik smiles, laughing softly and has the NV pointed at a pad of paper.]

That's true of most people. This island is on this dimension here. Now, there is a world outside this island - things come in from the docks. So there is a pocket universe inside this one.[He draws a large sphere on the page, and draws a second sphere inside it where the island is, roughly.]

And other universes exist. Some spherical - most are - some tube shaped, and so on. [He draws those as well]

But as they move around, they can bump into each other.

[Off feed, Erik tosses some small metal shapes, spheres, tubes, etc into the air and they slowly move, sometime bumping into each other - there is a large sphere with a smaller bubble of a different color on it floating around.]

What I believe is happening is as these universes move around and bump into each other the Core makes a little connection with the universe it bumps into. [And as the bubble touches others, a thin filament forms, leaving a link. ( ... )
