This was a bit of an accident, and one he feared he'd lose his job over, actually.

Daedalus will be sheepishly avoiding his typical break hour haunting of the maternity floor and pediatrics ICU for quite some time, because he really didn't mean to send newborns home accelerated 9 months into infancy, let alone have it make headlines. This may cause a few unforeseen developmental problems, and he has the unsettling feeling this 'miracle' is going to launch him into a lot of profuse apologies, with time.

All right. Given I'd done some work with cloning and accelerated growth, if you - or they - would like a consult I'm available. I doubt there will be lasting effects however.

I've...actually done a fair amount of work with growth regulation myself, before coming into the ability to do so by sheer force of will, so...I have a fair understanding of potential complications.
