This time of year reminds me a lot of Romdeau. It was never cold or snowy like this but- everyone was so preoccupied with buying. It was good for the city you see and- it's good here? No one ever really talks about that though, how it's good for the society, just how it's good to get a person a gift.

It's so much more...emotional.

Ah, yes. Just strange, I never thought people would ever be encouraged to do so. [Such love...it seemed like something only a Proxy or misfit could feel.]

They make candy like that? Do you know where they sell it?

I suppose they can afford to, for once. It almost makes me jealous.

Probably at a shop in the mall. I'm certain I saw more than one candy store, and at least one entirely devoted to chocolate.

More criminal than anything, I bet. We believe someone did it for fun and to cause some mayhem.

[Well, she really means that she's never seen Vincent cuddle anyone, least of all her. Not that she's ever done the same.]

Just put it behind you. No one's angry at you for what happened.

[He sighs, maybe he's been too on edge about this. He doesn't blame Daedalus, so he shouldn't blame himself right?]

I know, it's just..[Awkward.] Well, nothing I can't handle.

[She knows how he feels. She didn't like what happened between her and Raul, or with Pino, any more than Vincent liked being with Daedalus. Or being forced into it by some damn mistletoe.]

...Does it really bother you that much?

I just don't get it. [He shrugs helplessly, it's hard for him to explain. It almost makes him feel like he's fickle or something if he can have his feelings for her replicated artificially. He doesn't know how to put this into words however.]

It was a manipulation of your senses. Nothing more. Well, unless that feeling remained with you, I suppose.
