I think we might have one or two left. Sold off a lot of stock over the weekend, but there's still stuff that needs to go.

Really? That's great!

How much are you asking?

Hang on. [he needs to rummage around and find one, with the tags]

Ah, there are two left. One's fifty and the other one's seventy, don't ask me why it's more expensive. The case is an extra twenty for both of them.

Fifty and seventy? I guess that's not a lot here; money sure has changed.

I've only got fifty on me, but I'll need one of the cases... could we maybe strike a bargain? I'm a photographer, I could take some photos for your menu - people really like that sort of thing!

I'm not as familiar with these dollars as I am with the currency back home. But yeah, the prices have been slashed just to get rid of everything.

...a photographer? Well. Maybe we could strike some kind of deal. A case in exchange for publicity?

When and where I come from, a fair price for a new violin was around fifteen dollars. That was a long time ago though, and people got paid a lot less than they do now. I almost had a heart-attack when I first heard what my partner was going to be making - I thought we were going to be rich!

You're going to need a menu, right? People like to see pictures of what they're ordering and the better your food looks, the more people are going to want to eat it! I'll make sure to take a nice shot of you and your staff too, so you can hang it inside or submit it to the newspaper.

So, fifty for the violin and the case, pleeeease? [ Pouty. Very pouty. ]

Ahh. Whereas, where I come from, fifty beli is barely pocket change. No matter. That sounds like a fair deal - it'll be a couple of weeks before the place is clean and painted and looking nice again, but I'll hold you to that promise. Fifty it is, for both.

Great! Mine got left at home, and I was real worried about getting out of practice.

I own the 'Four Friends' studio in Sector 5, so when you're ready to take the pictures just give me a shout or drop on by.

As soon as I'm done getting patched up I can head over with the money, if you've got the time.

Four Friends...all right, I'll write that down and get back to you.

Patched up? Well, whatever's good for you. Don't be roaming around after dark if you don't have to, I'll set this violin aside for you and you can pick it up on your time.

Don't worry, I'm not that stupid.

Tomorrow wouldn't be a bad day for me; I'll try and stop by in the afternoon.

All right, then. We'll be open, and I'm sure I'll be around.
