Fourth course [video]
[anyone who's been to Brooke's Musical Emporium before will notice that the interior is looking...different. Emptier, for one, less like a shop, but cluttered with building materials]
Crap. Should've done this sooner, but I've been a little busy. Miss Sunako already let it slip anyway - Brooke is gone. He vanished a few weeks ago. The Musical Emporium is temporarily closed, so that the rest of the crew left here can carry out his last wishes. [pause for smoking] Brooke's will be reopening at the end of this month as a restaurant.
If you want one of the last few instruments we haven't sold off, come grab it now while you have a chance. I'll keep the cafe open through this week, but eventually we're going to have to close that, too, for the remodeling and shit. In the meantime, I'm going to need to hire a few more people to staff the restaurant. I'll be the head chef, but I could use a few kitchen assistants and waitstaff. Chat me up on this thing or stop by and we'll talk. Miss Sunako will still be working here, people really like her pastries.
[another pause for...thinking. Oh hey is that a square of black cloth tucked into the pocket of his suit-coat where a fancy kerchief should be?]
Nah, I think that covers it for now. I've got a lot of work to do, here and with the soup kitchens. Apparently another holiday is coming up, and apparently the only time anyone cares to feed the hungry is when there's a holiday. Go figure.
