Perhaps this will be another reason why, as newcomers, pulling together and looking for a way into an office of import is necessary.

Office of import? Who on earth would elect us besides other newcomers? Do our votes even count?

If the newcomers band together to form their own political party, then we cannot be ignored during elections. And you would be surprised; more people like certain newcomers more then you might think.
