[At the moment, the broadcast coming from Sokka’s NV is completely in audio, but there are buttons being pressed at random, making noises. There’s also the noises of a very fustrated Water Tribe boy along with them.]

Well, if you don't go out after the sirens go off, you won't have to worry about them. A lot of buildings are fortified against them, depending on the area of the city that you're in.

Have you talked at all to a person calling themself a Greeter, yet? All newcomers are given access to an apartment in a fortified building; they should be able to direct you there.

Well, if there's somebody here you know you can trust, it's probably just simpler to wait for them. Everyone started off the same way, so they ought to know how to get set up.

In the meantime, since you seem to like fiddling with the NV, you should be able to bring up more info on this place while you wait. Maps, important locations, a bestiary, and all that.

Yep. It can communicate with all of the other citizens here, as well as provide the information that I mentioned. It's worthwile to check it out.
