01: Audio/Video
[At the moment, the broadcast coming from Sokka’s NV is completely in audio, but there are buttons being pressed at random, making noises. There’s also the noises of a very fustrated Water Tribe boy along with them.]
I heard voices on this thi-- Hello?! Hello, can anyone hear me?! Hey, Aang, if this is your idea of a joke--!... no... that’s... what if I do--
[Audio shuts off, and about thirty seconds later video comes on to a very, VERY close up shot of Sokka’s blue eye. His voice is a little distorted from the close up range.]
What did that do... that thing is red and... can’t hear anything now... HEY! GUYS! SERIOUSLY, SAY SOMETHING!
[he pulls it back, blinking a few times and staring at it in absolute, utter confusion. He also looks rather ill, like he’s holding back the urge to throw up.]
... Hello? Uhm... hey, can... can this thing tell me where my sister is?! Or Suki! Yeah, I can’t find my girlfriend can’t find anyone really... and... uhm...
This is great. Just great. Perfect, even... I swear if this turns out to be a prank...
[Sokka stops, sighing heavily and looking around, dragging a hand through his loose hair.]
I’m talking to some weird looking inanimate object... forget this, maybe if I just start walking... You hear that you stupid thing?! You’re useless! And this isn’t funny guys!
[after several seconds of fiddling, amazingly Sokka finds the proper ‘off’ button and the feed cuts out.]
