[When the post clicks on, it's obvious that Minako's at work; there's plenty of cut flowers, arranged very neatly, behind her in various vases and water buckets to keep them fresh. She has one of her knees pulled to her chest on the stool she's sitting on. There's a water bottle nearby, the only evidence that she's taking a break.]
We made so much food last night, practicing, that I had plenty to pass around the house and I could even bring some to work for everyone. It was really nice to eat something warm, especially now that the weather's getting cooler. I love coming home to something smelling good in the apartment. [She beams.] That's why I love fall and winter. Silly reason, right?
But I'm glad we have a place to keep the flowers growing here, though, in the colder months. It'd be a shame if everyone was out of work during the fall and winter. Aerith did a really good job of setting this place up. She'll be really happy when she comes back and it's doing so well!
[Aerith might never come back, but they have to remain optimistic, right?
She fusses with her trademark red headphones around her neck before she says anything else.]
You know... I was getting some winter clothes the other day and I got to thinking- How do people know who's a newcomer and who isn't? I mean, yeah, people showing up randomly is a dead giveaway and some of us stand out. [Not mentioning any names.] But some people look really normal, so how can they tell if we're new to the city or not?
When I was in the store, no one really suspected anything. They thought I was just a normal girl. But when I went to sign up for courses- [Minako shrugs.] Well, that'd be more obvious, since I don't have any academic history here! But still, it made me wonder...
[There's a bell in the background - a customer's come in - and she quickly turns off the feed.]
[Private to SEES household]
I'm gonna go out tonight on my own. I want to test something out. I'll show it to you guys later.
